Madelyn was born in Charleston in South Carolina. She is an American actress. Born near Charleston South Carolina Madelyn began modeling at age 10. After appearing in a variety of commercials and print ads she resigned from the university to pursue acting when she was 19. In addition to a variety of films and shorts, she appeared in several television series. Her breakthrough came after appearing on Stranger Things, The Originals and Outer Banks. Madelyn Cline's parents include Mark and Pam Cline. Madelyn was born December 21 of 1997 in Goose Creek South Carolina (near Charleston). Their father works as a water systems engineer while her mother works as an agent for real estate. Maddie is also the name of Madelyn. The modeling career began when she was just at the tender age of 10. She worked in New York on television and print commercials, and appeared as a model on an American Girl Magazine cover. At 19 she quit school to pursue a career as an actor. After that, she relocated into Los Angeles California against her parents' wishes. Her home is there in South Carolina, but her parents are supportive of her work.
