Scarlett Johansson - American Actress and singer (born in New York City on 22 November 1984) Her range of talents as an actress has brought many accolades in everything from the dramas of the past to thrillers and adventures. Johansson was born in New York City, and lived there with her father, an architect, and mother who produced. She and her twin brother Hunter were the youngest of four siblings. When she reached seven years old, her love of acting was growing. Her first audition was for commercials. The passion for acting developed quickly and she enrolled soon after in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. In the Off Broadway play Sophistry she worked with Ethan Hawke. She then made her first film appearance in North (1994), directed by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson was later seen in Just Cause, but she made her debut with Manny & Lo, a film about orphaned siblings who escape. The Horse Whisperer (2000) the film in which she played the role of a teenage girl who has a deformity because of an accident earned her critical acclaim. After that, in Ghost World 2001 (as the teenager who is a cynical outcast Rebecca) Johansson was awarded an even greater amount of attention. Renee Felice Smith was a teenager when she first began her career in entertainment. As a child she became interested in performing. Smith was offered her first gig acting at the age of six years old thanks to her parents. It was the Dannon yogurt TV commercial. Like many actresses who are just getting started, to improve her acting skills. She was involved in various productions in the USA as she made her stage debut. She was a student at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
