Dina Meyer was born and raised in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island in the last term of junior high. There are two of her siblings: an older brother whose name is Gregory as well as a younger sibling called Evan. When she was nine up to 16, she started working in the entertainment business through modeling. Her acting education began with The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York in which she learned Sanford Meisner's techniques for acting, alongside Ron Stetson, for about three years. Sandra Bullock has received the identical training that was given to Jeff Goldblum and Leslie Nielsen. The first role she acted in was in Beverly Hills 90210. This required her moving out in Los Angeles. After that, she was as the lead role in the movie Johnny Mnemonic, in which she was able to do all her stunts herself, and established herself as an athletic actress. Her talent agent was also representing Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent she was able to secure a role in the show Friends.
