roulette

roulette g6604aadfc_640Roulette is a game played in casinos called after the French word"little wheel" which is thought to originate out of the Italian game Biribi. A player can place bets on a single number or a number of numbers in addition to the color red and black. Also, they have the option to bet on whether the numbers are odd or even , or high (19-36) or low (18-18). The Croupier spins the wheel one direction. Then, the ball is spun in the opposite direction. The ball eventually loses its momentum, passes through an area of deflectors, then falls onto the wheel and falls into one of the thirty-seven (single-zero, French or European style roulette) or thirty-eight (double-zero, American style roulette) or thirty-nine (triple-zero, "Sands Roulette")[1] colored and numbered pockets on the wheel. The winnings are paid out to those who have placed a winning bet.
